As a Swiss Pre-wedding photographer, I believe the most powerful frames are those captured in moments of raw, unscripted emotion. For this June pre-wedding photoshoot with a lovely couple from Taiwan, we designed a visual narrative that was more than just a session—it became a life-defining memory.
Our pre-wedding story began with intimate morning portraits in Grindelwald, but the true heartbeat of the day remained a secret between the groom and me.
While marriage was already a shared vision for them, the groom privately reached out to me, expressing his wish to give her a complete, formal surprise proposal. I suggested that there is no place more sacred than standing before the three iconic peaks of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau.
At Kleine Scheidegg (2,061m), I asked them to stand back-to-back and close their eyes. As your photographer, witnessing her overwhelming emotion when she turned around to find him on one knee amidst the glaciers was a masterclass in truthful, unscripted storytelling. Unlike a standard tourist trip, a bespoke pre-wedding session like this captures the soul of your connection.
Still glowing from the morning’s surprise, we concluded this June photography journey by the turquoise waters of Lake Brienz. Against a rustic stone wall, we framed a series of peaceful portraits, allowing the magnitude of their new chapter to settle amidst the lakeside serenity.
