From Bern to Grindelwald: A bespoke switzerland vintage car elopement journey
Act I | Bern: The Pink Parade
Kelly&Arlen’s day began with a bold, urban energy that defined “bespoke.” In the heart of Bern, we introduced a rare vintage pink convertible that brought the city to a standstill. As they drove past the historic Zytglogge, the streets erupted in cheers.
To bridge the vibrant car with a touch of timelessness, I designed a lush bridal bouquet of ivory and soft pink dahlias. The spontaneity reached its peak when a local gelato shop owner ran into the street to gift the couple ice cream—a moment of pure Swiss warmth that set the tone for the entire day.
Act II | Grindelwald: Pink Florals Under the Eiger
As the afternoon faded, we left the city pulse behind for the silent majesty of the Bernese Oberland. This transition is what makes a Switzerland elopement so magical: the ability to move from historic cobblestones to glacial peaks in a single afternoon.
In Grindelwald, the vintage car gave way to a sacred, private ceremony. We mirrored the morning’s vibrant energy by installing a pink and white floral arch directly facing the North Face of the Eiger. Standing in the shadow of the mountains, the pink blooms whispered against the ancient white of the glaciers. Without an audience, Kelly&Arlen exchanged their vows in a setting that felt both profoundly intimate and infinitely grand.
Kelly later shared, “It felt like the whole world was blessing us.” Helping them realize this daring, two-act dream is exactly why we limit our bookings—to ensure every detail, from the city streets to the mountain peaks, is a 100% original reflection of the couple.
