Elegance in the Snow: An April Prewedding in Grindelwald
You can actually capture snow scenes in Switzerland as late as April! These photos were taken in early April on First Mountain in Grindelwald. Since the mountain is at a high altitude, it was still covered in snow at the beginning of April.
Photoshoot in the snow aren‘t always as cold as they seem. If you’re worried about the cold, consider scheduling your shoot in November or March/April. On sunny days at higher altitudes, it can be relatively warmer (though keep in mind that snow in November is usually thinner, and snow in March/April is not as fresh, so it might not look as impressive as it does from December to February).
The bride specifically chose a yellow dress, which looked stunning against the snow. We also took more photos in the town of Grindelwald and by Lake Brienz. I particularly love the emotional moments captured in these photos.
