Swiss Alps Romance: A Prewedding in Glarus
N&M, a couple from Hong Kong, chose Glarus for their pre-wedding photoshoot. In early May, the meadows were adorned with yellow dandelions, forming a magical backdrop against the deep blue Walensee.
For the second look, we captured more intimate moments near Klöntalersee, using a soft, blurred foreground. I’m particularly fond of these close-up shots. We then moved to a nearby mountain for some more dramatic, wide-angle shots.
Finally, we returned to Walensee but chose a different spot. The hillside was dotted with charming little houses, giving it a quintessential Swiss feel. To match the lively surroundings, I guided the couple into more playful poses for a more interactive and fun look.
As a final touch, the bride wanted to take photos with sparklers. We waited until just before dusk to capture these shots. Unexpectedly, it began to rain, so we quickly finished the sparkler photos before the shower started. The final results were beyond expectations.
