From Mountains to City Lights: Capturing Love Across Switzerland
I had the pleasure of photographing a pre-wedding shoot for a lovely couple from Singapore. We began our journey by driving up a winding mountain pass. The wind was strong on the mountain pass, but I loved how it blew through the bride’s hair and fluttered her dress. It felt incredibly natural and peaceful. A gentle sunlight filtering through the clouds made everything more lovely.
After descending the mountain, we headed to Zurich to capture some urban scenes. The bride changed into a shorter dress and I paired it with a layered lace veil. The city looked stunning under the setting sun. During the shoot, we came across a small bar with a charming outdoor setting. The antique shop behind it made for a perfect backdrop, so I suggested taking some photos there. The final images turned out beautifully, with a real sense of storytelling.
To celebrate the end of the shoot, the bride had a special request: to open a bottle of champagne. We found a spot by the river and popped the cork. To our surprise, the people around us cheered. It was such a wonderful experience.
